05 April 2013 Today I present you with a design that I call Falling Stars. This is number sixteen in my collection of designs! Joy! I feel really awesome about that. I had hoped I would be on number twenty-six by now, but hey, I’m only ten away, so I say wicked-cool regardless. Although this design makes me think I should probably brighten up some of my work a bit, I am, overall, quite happy with how it turned out. I am especially happy with the fluidity of the shapes and textures. It has an almost watery look that I think adds a lot to its prettyness. The actual “falling stars” kind of disappeared in the final product, but I assure you, you can still wish upon it. Yeah okay, that was bad, but I totally opened myself up for it. So all super lame jokes aside, Falling Stars is now complete and you can purchase all kinds of beautiful products that feature the lovely that is this pattern. Visit the Falling Stars page in the collections section of the site for a complete directory!

05 April 2013 Hello and welcome to Denebola! If you were looking up at the night sky at the constellation Leo, you might call it Beta Leonis, for that is the star that I named this design after. However, it wasn’t actually this specific design at the time, but rather a spacescape collage and therefore the title made a lot more sense. But, bewildering titles aside, I have to say that I am quite pleased with this softly shiny, mostly blue design. I am particularly fond of 04. At first I couldn’t stand it and my original plan was to continue modifying it. However, I totally forgot about that plan and didn’t remember again until I was creating products with it at Zazzle. I almost deleted them, but after closer inspection I found that I was mostly delighted with the products, especially the Rickshaw bags. I thought they looked beautiful. In fact, I thought they looked best out of the whole collection. One of those few and rare occasions my brain did me a favor forgetting something. Thank you, brain. So anyway! Check out the Denebola page in the collections section to quickly find this design in my Zazzle store, as well as lots of other places!

28 March 2013 Greetings! I hope this (whatever day of the week it is at the time that you are reading this) is treating you well. It has been good for me so far as I now have my Iron Flower design collection completed. I can't say that I'm anything less than happy about it. This design is unique for me in that it doesn't contain much of a color spectrum. I generally use at least a few more colors in my designs and although I'm happy with how this one turned out, I just can't help but feel like it could use a few more colors swirled around in there. Although I have the compulsion to add color to it, the design somehow still inspires me to want to try and create more patterns using just single colors with subtle highlights. I'm thinking about embossed white. It could look really neat, or just weird and lumpy. If this post is a year old and there are no traces of a white pattern existing anywhere in my collection, odds are it looked weird and lumpy. But back to Iron Flower and its pretty Earthy swirledness. This beautiful design is available on quantities of products uncountable. Well, not really that many, but quite a few. Should you be interested, I have created a complete directory located on the Iron Flower page in the collections section of the site. Please enjoy!

12 March 2013 A sale! Indeed it’s true! From now and on through the 17th day of March at midnight (Pacific Standard Time) you can get free shipping from Society6 when you buy something from my amazing store. However, you have to use this link to get it: http://society6.com/ This offer excludes framed art prints, stretched canvas prints, and throw pillows with insert. It’s not really clear to me if you can get the throw pillows without the insert. I do totally see the absurdity in the fact that my awesome Society6 sale graphic contains a picture of a throw pillow with an included insert. I might have to change that later since I feel like the last time they had a sale the pillows were excluded then, too. Anyway! Buy blank note cards, cellphone cases, and skins like a crazy person and save like mad on shipping for an entire week!

11 March 2013 Greetings! Welcome to my newly completed design that I call Behind the Rain. Basically I used a lot of watery looking effects and that is why I decided to name it as I did. I wish I had a cooler, maybe even deeper story to tell for this one, but I don't. I could make something up though. The image contains a ghostly looking figure in it. She looks as though she is capering through a forest of some kind. It's a vague, somewhat distorted image, but it is indeed there. So it's about the ghost of a woman that died in a forest during a rain storm (perhaps her car hydroplaned off the highway, over a cliff, and into a tree) and now whenever it rains she comes out haunting. I shall add drama and say that she was on her way to meet her true love that never did find out what happened to her since they never ever found her body. That's part of what inspires her to haunt. She wants to tell her true love what happened so he doesn't think she just ran off to Italy with another man. It's a very emotional piece, you see. And also quite lovely. I think. If you agree and would like products featuring the profound imagery of this design, I have a complete directory of where you can buy stuff right here. All the best :)

10 March 2013 Greetings! My Coma Berenices collection is at last complete! I think this collection turned out quite beautiful. I'm not sure that it does justice to the constellation after which it was both inspired and named, but I do think it is quite lovely. If you're not familiar with the constellation, I suggest you do a Google image search (or just click the link I conveniently put there) and behold all of the glorious pictures. You will be overwhelmed by absolute beauty. This collection has six parts each of which is available at shops all over the internet on all kinds of magnificent products. Please check the dedicated page for it in the collections section for a complete directory.
